How much $$$$ do I have to spend on speakers to get a significant increase in sound quality that's worth it?

- The speakers have to at least work with either an i pod or a computer, but both are preferable.

- I prefer to spend less than 0, closer to if possible.

- Is the above type of money going to get me a worth while increase in sound quality?

- I currently have two dell speakers that came with my computer?

- I am also interested in wireless, what price am i looking at for that?

- I’ve seen a sony wireless speaker for a list price of 0, Amazon about – , and refurbished for about .

    I suggest NOT to get wireless.
    In cheap speakers, the incremental quality is actually much higher than in the expensive ones – $2000 speakers most likely will sound the same as $2075, but $25 will be much worse than $100.
    Go to the store and listen – Apple stores have dozens of speakers on display connected to iPods.
    In your price range – the more you spend, the more you get!
