Wireless Home Theater system?
I was going to buy this sound system
http://www.bestbuy.com/site/olspage.jsp?skuId=8715759&type=product&id=1200702389192
But I was wondering, is there a limit to how far the wireless speakers can be from the actuall interface? Is it also possible that the wireless speakers may interfere with my wireless internet connection (that is with my laptop)?
How to get my sound to be louder on non-amplified PC speakers? (volume is all the way up)?
I work on computers, and I have an HP computer that I loaded Windows 98 on for a friend. His computer came with non-amplified speakers, and I loaded the sound driver that came with his PC. The sound works when it is turned all the way up on the PC, but it is very quiet. I know this is something easy to fix, because I remember another IT person telling me how to fix it before, but I don’t remember how.
His computer’s sound was fairly loud before I reinstalled Windows, so it doesn’t require new speakers, he wants to be able to use the original speakers.
And people, I am an IT professional, so I would like a technical fix for this, not a stupid answer like replacing the speakers or using win-amp obviously I know those are possible options.
If I don’t get a better answer on here shortly, I am going to delete this question and try again. These are ridiculous answers, thanks for nothing!
Could this pc be good for gaming?
I just saw this offer from Packard Bell and for the price, it looks bloody awesome. Could this play todays latest pc games? Here’s the offer: "Intel Core 2 Quad Q8300 processor 2.5 GHz, 4096MB RAM, 1TB HDD, DVDRW dual layer drive and seperate DVD drive, Integrated 10/100 LAN & memory card reader, 6 USB 2.0 ports, nVidia G130 graphics with 1536MB dedicated video RAM, viseo 230W 23" wide LCD with integrated speakers, MS Works 9 pre-installed" it looks powerful but I’m not too clued up with pc specs. Lol but yeah, what do you guys think? For the whole system, plus wireless Keyboard and Mouse its R10,000. I’ve no idea what that is in dollars or pounds.
How do i connect my stereo speakers to my PC (not via an amp etc)?
I have got 2 stereo speakers that i want to hook up to my new PC instead of buying some new speakers. I dont want to connect it via an amp, just connect the speakers directly to the PC via an adapter etc. They normally take the bare wire/zip cord connections to connect to the amp but i dont want it hooked up to the stereo system in my room, but use them instead of the normal PC speakers you can buy. How would i go about doing this?
best audio-quality connection between computer and hifi system?
what would be the ideal way to listen to my computer’s music-files via my stereo-system? please note that i MAINLY listen to classical music and also, my files are recorded between 300+ bit-rate and loss-less. i would also appreciate a guesstimate between the quality of a wired connection versus wireless. i would also be happy to invest into a quality soundcard, if that would make a difference for my B&W speakers. thanks so much !

i dont want speakers that will blow easily and i want a good subwoofer. if you look at the specs on Klipsch.com the say that the woofer is :::::50 watts @ 5% THD, 50 Hz
I dont know what that means. Ill give yyou a link to the newer wireless version on Kilpsch.com and maybe you can help me understand some of the specs on the website.
