What to get 360 or PS3?
So I just sold my Wii (as a bundle) for 0 and I want to get a 360 or PS3… Question is which one, here’s my position also selling my DS for 0 as a bundle giving me about 0 to spend as I want 0 in savings:
Xbox Pros:
1. I like the games on it a lot more and am looking forward to get Forza2 Ace Combat 6 and Halo 3
2. Most of my friends have 360’s
Xbox Cons:
1. I really hate to buy warranty for it since I could of gotten a PS3 for the same price as 360+Warranty (Warranty= I think)
2. I’m scared shitless of getting the 3 red lights of death
3. I have wireless internet so I need the wireless adapter as Ethernet aint an option which is an extra -0
4. If I get the 360 I get a cooling fan for an extra
PS3 Pros:
1. Cheaper in total since it has built in wireless and doesn’t need a cooling fan.
PS3 Cons:
1. Ace Combat 6 isn’t available for it
2. Grand Turismo isn’t even out yet and I NEED a great racing game!
3. Not many of my friends have it
4. No Halo 3
Also I have a 1080i/720p capable 16:10 T.V but no good speakers as my PC speakers don’t work with it as far as I know…
If you could also tell me whether either of the systems supports 16:10 aspect ratio that would be nice.

Since this headset covers both your ears i need to know.. If it doesn’t then can you guys recommend me a good wired headset that has a mute button for my ps3?

Help eliminate wireless home theater frequency interference with PS3 wi fi?
Here’s the problem in short, detailed explanation below: my PS3’s wifi signal to connect to our broadband internet gets interrupted because of the wireless rear speaker frequency that my Panasonic home theater transmits to its receiver, and I have no idea how to fix or get around this.
This has been driving me crazy and as far as I can discern there is no pattern to it either, sometimes the PS3 wifi works in conjunction with the home theater system, other times it doesn’t. Essentially, my 5.1 system right now is a Panasonic home theater in a box (the SA PT-760 model to be exact) which has a wireless receiver that the rear speakers connect to which it then uses to communicate to the actual home theater receiver/dvd player; this way you obviously don’t have to run wires across the room to connect your rear speakers to the receiver.
So my basic situation is that a wireless card/pack connects into the Panasonic receiver which transmits/receives the rear speaker signal by another smaller box that the rear speakers connect to; when you power it on when the main Panasonic receiver is on the rear speakers wirelessly produce the rear channel sound, except in my case turning on the main receiver and/or the wireless receiver interferes with my wifi internet connection, particularly on the PS3. As I mentioned sometimes I’m able to get it to work just fine, usually by turning the Panasonic system or its wireless rear receiver on and off a few times, but sometimes it can take several minutes which is very frustrating. My CPU’s wifi is also affected by this the same way.
Can I deduce from this that the Panasonic rear wireless receiver is using a frequency that is disrupting my connection? When the PS3 is on and I turn on the receiver afterward, I’ll get booted off the internet and any media servers I’m connected to; this also happens with my computer (also in the same room, connected to the internet via wifi card), as if the Panasonic system/PS3 are fighting with my computer for access to the "one" internet connection floating around the room.
If it helps any, the room is a larger sized room, approx. 25′x15′ and all 3 devices (CPU, PS3, Panasonic system) are in rather close proximity to each other.
Thanks in advance for any solutions or work arounds.

Connecting playstation 3 speakers to pc speakers with it running on lcd monitor?
Recently bought a new monitor and connected the audio cable to the monitor from my logitech z4 speakers but the sound did not work from the speakers. How can I get sound from these speakers when playing on my ps3? Do I have to connect them to my ps3 instead and if so is there a special lead which can do so? Thanks
